We felt quite creative by the end of todays session as we had managed to re-write and record guitars for the songs "Out From The Dark" and "Nowhere" AND actually being very pleased with the result! The habit of starting each session by paying a visit to the local Preem gas station and tank up from the salad buffet has become quite the ritual, yummy!
After brunch, we dug in right away and the ideas came very easy regarding the new arrangements. The recording went smooth, no major hickups and all in all we felt that this was a very nice and rewarding day in the studio. I mean, who needs to be out in the sun when you can sit with a friend in a cramped studio room with no air, huh? On saturday, we will be at it again, until then, stay classy San Diego!
